This week Emma and I narrowed down our options for out December lunch. As you can see in this picture we chose a couple more restaurants to get feedback from. The next lunch date is November 1 depending on feedback. Our December date is what we are focusing on now. We went to Greenfield to talk to Qdoba about their donation. Their response was hopeful and they said they would get back to us. We are hoping our second Riley Lunch Bunch date will be as successful as the first!

These past couple of weeks we have been contacting restaurants for upcoming lunch bunch events. The restaurants we have contacted is Chick- Fil-a, Firehouse subs, and Qdoba. Our next lunch bunch is planned on 10/25. Over the next week, Emma and I will be organizing and planning our upcoming event. This is going to a smaller group of students this time because of the caterer. This caterer is popular so we will have no problem selling passes.
We have officially had our first successful lunch bunch. We had Mama Nitas and Cake Hole cater in the food for students willing to pay $10 for a pass. Mama Nitas donated pizza, salad, and breadsticks. The Cake Hole donated cupcakes for dessert. We had 12 of our 16 slots filled and brought in $111 total. We hope to have donations similar to this amount every week in order to make New Palestine High School a Miracle Building and donate to Riley Children's Hospital.
Pitch day happened on August 23, 2017. My partner and I presented our Riley Lunch Bunch project idea to administration and other faculty members to get feedback. Everyone in attendance said that this was a good idea. After this approval, Emma and I went out to local restaurants to see who would donate. The places we went to was Firehouse Subs, Qdoba, Wings etc., Jimmy Johns, and Mama Nitas. All of these restaurants said they would help with our cause. After this, Emma and I advanced our project details, got the conference room reserved, and talked with the Principal to get confirmation. Our job now is to sell passes.
Riley Children's Hospital Lunch Bunch is a project that my partner, Emma Grable and I, came up with. Our goal is to provide senior's with a catered lunch from various local restaurants. Seniors will buy passes for $10 from us. This money is going to Riley Children's Hospital in the name of NPHS Advanced Business Management. The local restaurants are willing to donate fully catered lunches. These restaurants will be advertised at sporting events. Our goal is to raise over $1,000 to make our school become a miracle building and also to donate to Riley Children's Hospital.
